How about doing a mass e-mail to all departments with the new blog address.I'm from CT so I don't if you have done this.
hey Britt, Love the idea of the blog, keep up the good work.
An upcoming proposed change to NFPA 1901 will require red and yellow chevron striping on 50% of the rear of all new apparatus. You can still put whatever you color you want on the front and sides. Three questions:
#1 Why can you go with "lessor" conspicuous colors on the front and sides? There is NO guarantee what side or side(s) of the apparatus will be approaching on-coming traffic!
#2 Why go with only 50% coverage?
#3 Does anyone know if any research and testing was done by the NFPA to come up with this proposal.
